About SDCA
Salem District Chess Association is one of the oldest chess associations affiliated
to TamilNadhu State, serving since 1973.
At SDCA, our passion for the game motivates us to empower chess players by giving
them an escalated social status. We very firmly believe that the players have to
enjoy respect and adoration in the society, which will make them psychologically
at ease, thereby inducing them to give their best to the game. We strive to give
them this advantage and boost their spirits. We at boast of a unique tradition of
producing some of the finest chess players
